BALOS BAY
Balos Bay, Crete, Greece
Latitude: 35° 58' 34.52" N // Longitude: 23° 58' 48.59" E
Visiting Balos lagoon is said to be a must when you're staying in the north of Crete, therefore the beach can get a little bit packed during July and August, but its still worth a visit. At least for the glow of immaculate white sand and the gently faded turquoise colour of the shallow waters. And with the steep rock formation behind it seems that its always calm and safe there.
