PREMANTURA
Premantura, Croatia
National Park, the northern part of Istria shore
You can smell the sea in the warm air. Mixed with pine trees odour pinching in your nose. You walk on those sun-bleached heated stones, which are everywhere along the shore, avoiding occasional bunches of sharp faded grass gushing out. You put you towel somewhere where the surface is flat enough. The sea is calm and the vividly blue sea is reflecting the sun rays in this dazzling blinding dance. You walk gently on the rocks on your bare foot and once you reach the edge, you dip your toe. The water is fresh and the soft breeze just caressed your bare skin. Its time to jump in.
Premantura is a national park in Istria, in the north part of Croatia. It is located on the Kamenjak Peninsula or Cape Kamenjak sometimes known as the Peninsula of Premantura (Punta).
Kamenjak is a protruding piece of land, 9.5 km long, 1.5 wide, delving deep into the sea. Along its almost 30 km long articulated coastline you’ll find numerous bays, rocky beaches, sandy coves, jumping spots as well as 11 unhabitated islands.
Note: most of the photos taken near Uvala Mala Kolumbarice
Trapani is perched on the western tip of Sicily, and its climate is quintessentially Mediterranean, with average temperatures hovering around 20°C—a perfect respite all year round.
